Created by Wiradjuri artist Glen Sutherland, the Illawarra Hawks William Hickey 2025/26 Indigenous Jersey tells the story of Bunder (kangaroo) hunting on Country — a tradition passed through generations. The design captures the movement of kangaroo tracks and hunters’ footsteps across the land, symbolising skill, patience, and respect for culture. Shades of purple, pink, and brown reflect the landscape at dusk, while blue tones honour the water after rainfall. Each detail connects the Hawks’ spirit of determination to the enduring strength of Wiradjuri heritage.
