There's a certain pride in donning a Guernsey designed by one of your own, the GWS Giants will have that when they don the GWS Giants 2021 Indigenous Guernsey in their Sir Doug Nicolls Round clash with Brisbane. Designed by GWS forward Bobby Hills. It tells his personal story as a Whadjuk-Ballardong Noongar man growing up in Northam WA and moving to Sydney to compete in the AFL for the Giants.
Hunting, a big part of Hill's upbring are represented with Boomerangs and campfire. The circle below the boomerangs represents family. Totems of the Giants three indigenous players are proudly on the forefront of the kit. At the back footprint represent Hill's journey both physically and emotionally to make it to Sydney.
