Excellent exerciser - just perfect for me!

Using it two hours a day and going great with no knee/hip or back/neck problems! Would like more info to understand how console calculates calories burned and distance. I usually walk a twenty-minute mile but after 2.5 hours of exercise (normally about 7 miles) the console shows a distance of 33.3 - whatever that means? Otherwise, have enjoyed immensely and am using daily!

Truely Zero Impact

After healing from ankle surgery in Nov 2019 I needed something low impact to get back in shape. This LT1 has surpassed my expectations. I love it. First of all it's silent which is a big plus. It's so smooth you a don't want to stop once you start. Without getting up you can make adjustments to target different muscle group's. It's magnetic resistance delivers a smooth yet challenging ride every time. It's been several weeks now and it hasn't shown any signs of wear. And for the price it's a steal. 5 days a wk, 30 min a day and awesome results.

Getting my strength back after hip surgeries!

I purchased this elliptical to aid in my recovery after an accident that resulted in 13 fractures. I liked the fact that reviewers with hip and knee replacements were able to get an excellent workout without any exacerbations of pain or further injury. I also noted that folks with arthritic knees like me found this Teeter comfortable. I use my machine every day with the blessings of my physical therapist and surgeon. There are thirteen tension settings for a full body workout allowing for you to start gradually and gain strength, fitness over time and "go for the burn" as desired. The machine is very quiet and perfectly smooth with a small "footprint" compared to other workout equipment. I have it in my living room near the TV. The machine is well built and sturdy. My husband assembled in 90 minutes. Customer service was superb after our kit was missing one screw. The screw was mailed out very promptly. This purchase is essential in my efforts to recover from a life altering accident and will be used many years into the future to stay strong and fit. Great value and quality. Buy it! You will be better off. Who needs a coach or fitness trainer? I am a 56 year old retired physician and farmer who likes working out at home.

Great except for seat

For the most part, I love it. My only complaints are with the seat. I find the bicycle style seat uncomfortable and would prefer a regular seat. I am having to use a square piece of thick foam to make it work. Also, despite all attempts to secure the seat it will sometimes pop out of place. I enjoyed using a similar piece of equipment in cardiac rehab and I am pleased to have this for use at home. Thank you!

Great for people with AS and POTS

I have Ankylosing Spondylitis and POTS (high heart rate, and passing out basically) so working out has been a major struggle. This machine was a game changer, I can get cardio at my own pace while also working my entire body while in a seated position. I cannot say enough good things about this machine. Well worth the money!

Assembly

I've done my share of assembling over the years, but few things were as easy as this eliptical. From delivery to done in about 2 hours. Very good instructions and packages of bolts, washers and screws for each step. They even include the only tool you'll need. The quality of the unit appears to be good. Good price too. I'm anxious to give it a go!

The FreeStep is well worth the money!

I have lymphedema in the legs and my physical therapist recommended that I cycle 30 minutes a day. I wanted something that would work both the arms and legs and found the FreeStep online. I have been using the FreeStep for about six weeks and with the exercising and also some changes in my diet, I have lost 15 pounds. It is a great machine and assembly was easy. The instructions were clear and all the nuts and bolts are individually packaged to go with each step.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Endorphins without worsening my injuries!

Due to a significant low back injury and a significant knee injury that required several surgeries I had to stop working to prevent worsening of my condition. My injuries also necessitated ceasing almost every gym, sport, home maintenance, and even most types of play with my children that had previously been a huge part of my identity and my life. Prior to this, activity had been in many ways my "medication" of choice to deal with most of my work and life stress. Before I started using the Teeter Freestep it was almost impossible for me to find any activity that allowed me to significantly elevate my heart rate and move my body in a way that created a release of the natural endorphins I needed to help with stress, promote better sleep, and slow/reverse my weight gain since stopping most of my exercise activity. Life is still a lot different and I still miss all of my old activities, but now I can move without mortgaging the rest of my day to deal with the consequences to my low back and my knee.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Quiet, smooth operation.

I don't like running or jogging, but this is easy to hop on while watching a football game (instead of simply sitting on the couch). It is VERY quiet and does not interfere with hearing the TV.

More Than a Year and Still Happy

I have been using my FreeStep for just over a year. In my original post I commented about the distance measurement. I agree with the "Teeter" response. The distance is a personal indicator of your progress. I have put well over 12,000 kilometers on my FreeStep and am still extremely happy. I have had five surgeries in 2019, which required me to stop for a while, but as soon as I could, I was back in the saddle. I find that using the FreeStep helps with recovery by doing just what the doctor prescribed, exercise. Keeping the blood flowing is one of the most crucial steps in recovery from almost everything. During the months that the surgeries were coming back to back, I gained a few pounds and lost some muscle tone because of NOT being able to use my FreeStep. Now that the surgeries have stopped, for a while, I have seen my muscle tone rebuild quickly and my weight is beginning to come down. I still recommend the FreeStep, especially if, like me, you have trouble walking.

Love this machine!

After completing pulmonary rehab I needed something I could use at home. This machine is the closest I could get to what I was using at rehab without costing thousands of dollars and taking up a lot of space. I use it every day. It is comfortable to use and easily adjustable. I put it together my self. I highly recommend it.

Easy to use with great results

I have had back problems my whole life and every time I started an exercise program my back would flare up. I started the Teeter Free Step October 11th and have been using it every day since then. I have not had any back issues and I can really feel a difference in my arms and legs. I have also had breathing issues this fall and this has improved since using the Free Step. I can't recommend this enough for anyone any age.

FreeStep Recumbent Cross Trainer

We love everything about the FreeStep Recumbent Cross Trainer except for the display. We are older and using this method of exercise because of bad knees and backs. The display is not large enough or bright enough to read while you are exercising. Other than that, we love it. Hopefully, in the future you will consider the Baby Boomers (and there are a lot of us are there) in regard to a larger display.

More Than What I Thought

I got this as a gift. I didn't think too much of it at first but after watching YouTube videos and learning how to use it, I really enjoy it. When you're on it it seems easy. About an hour after you get off of it you feel the muscles it's worked.

Restored strength and mobility after back injury

The Teeter Freestep provides a great full-body workout without stress to the back or joints. Two back injuries left me in constant pain, and unable to practice any vigorous exercise. Using the Teeter Fit Spine inversion table, and now the Freestep, has transformed how I feel and move. On the Freestep, I can work out vigorously without pain, since my back is supported. After a month of use, I already notice increased strength in my arms and back. My wife loves it as well. We highly recommend the Freestep - and FitSpine - to anyone recovering from injury and looking for a complete, pain and stress free workout.

Good Purchase

I really like your FreeStep but I feel like it needs three possible changes or upgrades. 1) The seat needs to be larger and more comfortable especially for older people and people with Tailbone issues. 2) It should be two or three inches wider, the left arm assembly tends to on occasion bang against my left knee and 3) the pedals need some kind of grit covering or stick-um to keep your feet from constantly sliding down the pedal. Other than those observations I think it is an excellent product and I enjoy using it about an hour at a time. Thank You.

What would make the free step better for me.

It is a very well built piece of equipment, built to last for many years. The one thing I would change is the range of resistance U can adjust to make the workout more difficult.

Great workout!

I was looking for a machine which would do what the NuStep machine I used at physical therapy. I found freestep after seeing a tv commercial. It does the same job as the NuStep at a fraction of the NuStep's price. I am very happy with the freestep. The only things the NuStep had which the freestep does not is a swivel seat for ease of getting on the machine and foot straps to secure your feet in place. But given the price difference (Google it) I am not complaining.

Super quiet easy on joints

So, I researched a lot of different types. Same as or similar to the teeter recumbent elliptical piece of equipment. I am mid 60. So I wanted something easy on my joints, because I'm only getting older. And I didn't want to quit because of pain. And it had to be quiet. I can't stand to work on a noisy machine. Anyway. This is great. Super quiet. I mean SUPER quiet. It is so easy to use. Easy on my joints. It hasn't been a month and I am already loosing inches. My husband just started using it as well. Since he had heart surgery and many other health issues, he needs to build up his strength again. So yes I would recommend this to a friend. It os a great piece of equipment.

Absolutely Love my teeter stepper. Perfect !

I bought my teeter freestep because I has quadruple by pass surgery and needed to find someway to exercise every day. I liked the recumbent stepper when I went to rehab and wanted something similar to that. I was so excited when this popped up on my facebook page. I read the reviews and decided I would give it a try. I had trouble doing the stand up elipticals because they hurt my knees. It said teeter was zero impact so that sounded good to me. I got it and friends helped me put it together. I absolutely love my teeter stepper. It is quiet and I can do it while I watch tv. I can do an hour and not even know it. It makes my heart increase enough to do the cardiac rehab. It is adjustable to how easy or hard you want it to be. It also works your arms which is a good thing. I just love it. I got it on 6 easy pays which helped alot. The only problem I have is the seat is a little too small and hard for me and I am well padded. I just use a pillow . It seems like it isn't deep enough or something . Other than that it is perfect.

Yes, I recommend this product.
