Winter motivation
It can be tempting to ditch the early morning workouts when it's dark, cold and very uninviting outside for the warmth and coziness of your bed. Instead of giving up on your morning run during winter, move your workouts to the lounge room for a killer exercise routine you can smash out in 20 minutes before the rest of the family starts demanding breakfast.
Giving up exercise because the weather turns cold and rainy can become a much 'bigger' problem in a few months. There's no reason you can't replace your outdoor morning power walk with an ab and thigh routine in front of the TV, as long as you keep moving and burning calories.
I suggest plan planning a maintenance program to ensure you stay on track during winter. Smaller condensed workouts you can do at home, or fast routines at the gym will help you avoid the inclement weather as well as piling on an extra winter layer, you'll only have to work harder to lose once spring arrives.
