The Rebel Sport Member Value Program (MVP) has been developed to provide sporting clubs or schools benefits for shopping at Rebel Sport. It allows your members/students to receive discounts every time they shop in store, which accumulate credits to be used by your club or school to purchase sporting goods from Rebel Sport stores.
MVP is a loyalty incentive program that is easy to join. There is no cost to your club or school becoming a member and your members can receive discounts almost immediately.
By providing a very comprehensive product range which includes all the best international brands, Rebel Sport is in a position to supply sporting clubs and schools with all their sporting equipment needs.
All clubs/schools are given a specific membership account number and personal membership cards to distribute to their members. These personal membership cards entitle your members to a 5% discount on any full priced purchased made at Rebel Sport during the membership period. These purchases are registered under your allocated account number.
A rebate of 5% is offered to your club or school based on the total amount spent in a set quarter. The rebate offered is in the form of credits available to be redeemed through any Rebel Sport store.
MVP rewards loyalty with a 5%* discount to all club or school members at all Rebel Sport stores nationally once registered on the program. Furthermore, the sporting club/school receive an additional 5%+ rebate in Rebel Sport credits for the club or school to spend at any Rebel Sport store.
* 5% discount applies to full price merchandise only and cannot be use in conjunction with any other offer.
+ 5% credits apply to the total sales purchased during a set 3-month period. Sporting clubs and schools must meet the minimum quarterly sales to be eligible for a credit.

Q. Where and what can the 5% discount be used on?
The 5% discount can be used at any Rebel Sport store nationally. The discount is applicable to full priced merchandise only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. This offer excludes gift vouchers and ski lift ticket purchases.
Q. Is there a minimum sales target the club/school needs to achieve before you receive Rebel Sport MVP credits?
Club/school members must achieve a minimum sales target in order to be eligible for Rebel Sport MVP credits. This minimum spend is $750 (excluding GST) in a set quarter period. Clubs and schools who reach this sales target will be eligible for 5% of the total sales amount to spend at Rebel Sport. Minimum Rebel Sport MVP credits for a set quarter is thus $37.50 (5% x $750).
Clubs and Schools with sales under $750 in a quarter will not be eligible for a credit. However the sales target will roll over into the next quarter and continue to accrue until $750 has been achieved.
Q. What happens to unused Rebel Sport MVP credits?
Unused Rebel Sport MVP credits may be rolled over to the next quarter, but must be used within the end of the participating/accrued year.

Q. Do I have to complete a credit account application?
No, If you wish to only apply for a basic account that allows your club to make purchases using the rebate credits awarded.
Yes, If you wish to open a credit account with Rebel Sport MVP that allows you to purchase goods on credit with trading terms, we require the credit account application to be completed including the trade references.
Q. Who do I use as a trade reference?
Suitable trade references for your credit application can include any other businesses that you have enlisted the service of and have paid their account on an invoice. The purpose of these references is to prove that the club is suitable for a credit account.
This can include, though are not limited to, builders or tradesmen that have performed work for the club, also caterers or food suppliers, and councils or grounds operators where you have had to hire courts, fields or equipment.
Q. What if I want to spend more money than the amount of credits I have available in my account?
If the total cost of the order you are placing with Rebel Sport is greater than the amount of credits you have available, then the balance outstanding must be covered in cash by the club. For clubs who have a credit account with Rebel Sport MVP, the balance of the order must be re-paid within 30 days of placing the order. For clubs who do not have a credit account, the balance of the order must be covered at the time of purchase in store.
Q. Tips to help promote MVP to your school / club members.
The most important part about promoting MVP to your club or school members is to ensure that they are aware of the benefits it returns back to the club/school. Some other ways to help promote MVP include:
- Distribute MVP cards to all members/students emphasizing that they need to be presented when purchasing from Rebel Sport stores.
- Put notices in weekly newsletters or e-updates reminding of the 5% discount to members/students.
- Display posters around the club/school advising of the discount and the rebate linked to MVP.
- Encourage members/students to purchase all sporting goods from Rebel Sport.
- Remind members during club/school meetings about the discount.
- Distribute copies of flyers promoting MVP to each member/student.

- The Rebel Sport MVP program is open to all sporting clubs and schools. It is preferred that all participants have an ABN (Australian Business Number).
- The total amount spent by the club or school and its members must exceed $750 in a set quarter in order to qualify for a credit. The quarters are: Jan 1 - Mar 31, April 1 - June 30, July 1 - Sept 30, Oct 1 - Dec 31. Eg, should a club join on May 27, they fall into the April 1 - June 30 quarter.
- Clubs or schools with sales under $750 in a quarter will not be eligible for a credit. If credits are not claimed in a quarter, or the minimum amount of $750 is not reached, monies can accumulate to the next quarter, but will be reset to zero after the fourth quarter. Any unused credits after four quarters will be forfeited.
- Therefore, the minimum credit is $37.50 or 5% of $750. There is no maximum credit amount.
- The credit payable and threshold levels will be based on the sales value with the exclusion of GST. Where the club or school has advised Rebel Sport that it is registered for GST, the amount of GST will be added to the credit accrued under the program.
- Any purchases gained by means that are not within the "Spirit of Participation" (eg transactions made by non club or school members or otherwise gathered through illegal means or deceit) will be excluded from the program and not included in the credit calculation.
- The 5% discount to all MVP members applies only to sales made by individual school and club members and does not include bulk club orders which are often subject to competitive quoting or price matching.
- The discount does not apply to products already marked down, or in conjunction with any other offer, to the purchase of gift vouchers or ski lift tickets.
- To obtain the discount under the Rebel Sport MVP program, an individual must show the MVP membership card at point of purchase.
- Rebel Sport reserves the right to refuse membership to any club or school who applies to the Rebel Sport MVP program. Acceptance of membership to the Rebel Sport MVP program is also subject to a credit check on the individual person and club applying.
- Rebel Sport reserves the right to take any club or school off the program at any time with no notice.
- Rebel Sport reserves the right to cancel the Rebel Sport MVP program at any time with one month's written notice.
