How does my club or school benefit?
Community Kickbacks supports all eligible clubs and schools by giving back 5% of all member purchases back to your registered organisation to spend as in store credit.
How do my members benefit?
By joining rebel’s loyalty program rebel active, your members will enjoy lots of great benefits such as member pricing, competitions, VIP experiences and loads more.
In addition, your members can also support your club or school by linking their rebel active membership to your registered club or school and start accumulating credits with each transaction for you to use to improve your facilities.
How do I join and start earning credits?
Simply complete the application form and post, fax or email it into us. Contact details can be found on the application form. Once your application has been approved, your club or school will be listed as a program partner on our loyalty program rebel active.
Your members then join rebel active either in store or online at rebelsport.com.au and select you as their preferred group on their member account profile.
If they’re already a rebel active member, they simply add your details to their account.
What will it cost me to join Community Kickbacks?

Can any community group apply?
All registered sporting clubs and schools can apply to the program.
When will I know if my application has been accepted?
Once your club or schools application form has been processed you will receive a welcome email from us with some further information on the program.
So how does it work?
Every time your members shop and swipe their rebel active card, we’ll capture their transaction under your account and 5% of that sale will be credited back to you to spend in store. Your members can shop in any of our stores nationally and online at rebelsport.com.au. As long as they have selected your club or school as their nominated group on their rebel active profile, you’ll be on your way to earning credits with us.
When do we get our credits?
When your members spend reaches a minimum of $2,000 ex GST in any 12 month period, we’ll give 5% back to your club or school as an in store credit. That means, if your members spend $2,000 ex GST, you’ll receive $100. And, if they spend $20,000, you’ll receive $1,000.
Credits are allocated to your account at the end of each quarter and we’ll continue to pay you credits each quarter providing your members purchases reach $2,000 in each quarter.
What happens if my member’s sales don’t reach the minimum threshold?
If you don’t make the minimum spend threshold by the quarter end, don’t worry, we’ll roll your members spend into the next quarter and continue to do so for a 12 month period.
How can I ensure maximum credits under Community Kickbacks?
It’s important that you communicate the program to your members and ensure they select you as their chosen club or school in their loyalty account. This is the only way to make their purchases count toward your credit calculation.
Simply put, the more members that join rebel active and select your club or school as their chosen group, the greater your potential to earn credits.
When can my members choose to support my club or school?
Members can join rebel active at any time, however they will only be able to nominate your club or school once the club or school’s Community Kickbacks application form has been processed.
When are the credits allocated?
Credits are allocated to the club or schools account at the end of each quarter. The quarters are:
January 1 - March 31
April 1 - June 30
July 1 - September 30
October 1 - December 31
How long do I have to use my credits?
Your club or school has 12 months to spend each credit from the date the credit is allocated.
If you’ve earned a credit in a quarter, you’ll receive an email from us notifying you of the credit amount. It’s important that you keep us informed of any changes to your account contact details and account representative so we can communicate this information to you.
How can I communicate the program to my members?
We can provide access to logos and information to include in all your member communications. Consider placing program posters on your grounds, adding the program information on your website and in all member newsletters and notices.
How do I update my account details?
It’s important that you keep your club or school’s contact information current. This way we can ensure we are sending the credit communication to a relevant club or school representative. For legal reasons, we need to secure any new contact person’s details from you in writing on your letterhead. This can be forwarded to us via email at email@example.com.
What can I purchase with the credits?
Your credits can be used toward any products in store. If we don’t stock the equipment you require, talk to your local store manager about placing a special order.
You can also secure rebel gift cards with your credits – they make great prizes for competitions.
